Terms and conditions

Minimum age
The driver must be at least 23 years old and the maximum rental age is 79 years.
  • Please note that we do not check the age of the driver when taking a booking. If you do not meet the age requirements at the rental counter, you will not be able to collect the car.
Driving License
Drivers must hold a valid license for at least one (1) year. National driving licenses issued in EU, USA, UK, Switzerland, Australia, Canada, Israel, Russia, Ukraine are accepted. An international driving license is required in all other cases.

Car replacement
In the unfortunate event of an accident / breakdown resulting in the immobilization of the vehicle, your car will be replaced with another within 24 hours of the accident / breakdown being reported. Our company has the right to investigate the causes of the accident / damage and refuse to replace the car if the use of the car was contrary to the terms and conditions.

Fines and traffic law
Any traffic fines received during the rental period are the responsibility of the renter. The car rental company should be notified of any traffic violations or fines, for example: Unsafe driving
The renter is fully responsible for all charges in the event that:
  • Drives a vehicle although unable to do so safely due to alcohol or drug use or physical or mental exhaustion
  • Drives a vehicle on national or regional roads against the current of the respective direction or on sidewalks, pavements or squares, or drives a vehicle that is technically unsafe or unsafely loaded, or makes dangerous maneuvers while driving
  • Violate the stop sign and red light.
Tire damage
Non-repairable tires are not covered by insurance, the customer is responsible for repairing them.

Children’s Seats
It is the renter’s responsibility to properly install the child seat.

Fuel policy
The renter must return the vehicle with the same level of petrol as it was delivered. Vehicles delivered overnight (outside office hours) have at least half a tank of gas. This will be enough to get you anywhere on the island. In addition, our representative will be happy to guide you to the nearest gas station.

Transport of the vehicle outside the island
It is not allowed to take the rental car outside the island. All insurances will cease to apply, and the renter will be responsible for any damage caused if the vehicle is driven away from the island of Crete.

Select a specific car make or model
Reservations are for a specific car group, which usually includes several car models with similar features. You can request a specific model after confirming your reservation. We will add your preferred model to your reservation and deliver your requested model if it is available on the day of your arrival. Please note that you must be ready to pick up any of the available vehicles of a group. In the event that you have a confirmed reservation for a specific car group and there is no car available from that group, we reserve the right to deliver a higher group vehicle at no extra charge.

Unlimited kilometers
There is no daily mileage limit.

All taxes are included
Any VAT due is already included in the price. No tax is paid when you pay on arrival.

Car delivery at airport, port or hotel and Airbnb.
At your request, you can deliver the car to the airport / port or directly to the city hotel / Airbnb. On departure you can leave the car at the desired location (airport, port or hotel). We also deliver to Chania airport for an additional fee.

Additional driver
There is no extra charge for the additional driver, but he must also have a valid driver’s license and passport or ID.

Late arrival
There is no extra charge for late arrival. We are always informed of your arrival time as well as any last minute flight changes that may occur. Our staff will wait for the arrival of your flight to hand over your reserved vehicle.

Baby and children’s seats
We offer baby and child seats free of charge.

Road map of Crete
We provide a free detailed road map of Crete to our customers upon arrival. We can offer you a GPS device with the latest map of Greece, with a Latin character map, available in 17 languages. The cost is 5€ per day.

Free parking at the airport when returning the car
Leaving the car in the airport parking lot on the day of departure is free and the easiest way to catch your plane.

Return to Heraklion Port
The return to the port of Heraklion has a fee of 3€ which you pay directly at the parking lot.

Driving on the island of Crete
All insurance covers are valid provided that the renter has complied with all terms and conditions and uses the car within Crete. The renter is obliged to pay for the repair of any damages caused to the rental vehicle if the use of the car is not correct.

What is not covered by any insurance
  • Damages caused by a driver under the influence of drugs or alcohol
  • Damages caused by an unauthorized driver.
  • Damages in the interior of the vehicle
  • Damages that were caused because the vehicle being illegally parked
  • Damages due to traffic law violation.
  • Damages due to inappropriate driving, negligence, or intentional.
  • Damages to the engine by wrong fuel or negligence.
  • Damages were caused because the vehicle was used off-road or in not appropriate roads (not paved roads, dirt roads, beaches, etc.).
  • Damages that were caused after the agreed return time.
  • Damage to the mirrors.
  • Damages or loss of tires, rims, hubcaps.
  • Damages to the underside of the vehicle.
  • Damages or loss of the antenna
  • Damages caused willfully or recklessly by the renter, e.g. (burning out the clutch, burning out the tires, sitting or standing on the bonnet, or the roof or the boot lid of the vehicle, etc.)
  • If the renter at the time of the accident does not notify our company and the police
  • Loss of personal items
  • Loss, damage, or theft of vehicle keys
  • Loss or damage of child seats, jack, safety triangle, spare wheel, petrol cap, or any accessories.
  • Total or part theft, in cases where the theft was caused due to renter’s negligence. (e.g., forgot the engine keys on the vehicle, etc.)
  • Traffic fines or other administrative sanctions may result from any violation of the Greek Traffic Law.
Rental extension
If you have already received your vehicle and want to keep it longer, you must contact our company and check if the car is available. We have the right to refuse to extend the rental if the car is already reserved. Please note that the customer is not allowed to bring the car later than the agreed return time without notifying us as there is no insurance cover after the car return time.

Cancellation policy
There is no charge if the customer cancels a booking, but please let us know as soon as possible.

Accident
In the event of an accident, the renter must contact our company immediately via our 24/7 helpline to receive instructions on how to deal with the situation. You are not allowed to leave the scene without reporting the accident. If you cannot contact our company, you should contact the police directly. If the renter fails to provide the report to our company, then he is obliged to pay for the repair of the damages caused to the rental vehicle. If the driver or one of the passengers is injured, you should also inform the police / ambulance. If it is likely that the other party involved will leave the scene of the accident, take a photo or write down the license plate number. We will also call our insurance partner for an accident report.

Cancel/Change reservation

In case you want to cancel a reservation, you want to change it, or you want to inform us about something regarding it you can submit a request below. Type the reservation code, the e-mail address you used in reservation and, optionally, a comment. You cannot cancel a reservation if the pick-up date is sooner than 1 days.
